As one of the organizations main initiatives, the primary goal of the SisterNomic$ Economic Empowerment program is financial literacy. We aim to educate girls and women on the ways to compete in the world from a position of economic strength. Implementation of these goals is through workshops, mentoring and career development workshops.

As one of the organizations main initiatives, the primary goal is to educate black women and girls and bring awareness to health issues and disparities that have great impact on our lives. The areas include, but are not limited to: HIV/AIDS, Heart Health, Breast Health, Intimate Partner Violence, Maternal Mortality, Human Trafficking, early detection and general health and fitness.

Advocacy is the core of NC100BW’s mission. Our public policy and advocacy efforts are implemented through educational seminars and workshops, centered around educating women and girls on issues that affect them and the importance of being involved in the legislative process.

The Madam CJ Walker Awards Luncheon highlights African American women who have demonstrated excellence in entrepreneurial efforts and community outreach in the Delaware Valley Area. Madam CJ Walker’s legacy continues to be part of our tradition by highlighting her achievements as an entrepreneur and philanthropist which has become our standard to honor four remarkable women who have made significant impacts in their careers and community.

NC100BW-PA awards three scholarships each year to black women and girls who are pursuing education. The scholarships are awarded annually during our Madam CJ Walker Awards Luncheon.

Academic Requirements:

  • College Bound Graduating Senior
  • Current College Student
  • Continuing Education Adult
    *Children and relatives of Coalition members are not eligible.
