Public policy and community affairs have a great impact on African American women and girls, and we look to educate, empower, and influence legislation to bring about important change. Public Policy is the current that runs throughout our programming. Implementation of these goals are through voting drives, educational workshops and seminars, and advocacy actions such as petitions, white papers, and government testimonies.
Our Economic Empowerment Programs goal is to educate and provide opportunities to young girls and women on the ways to compete in the world from a position of economic strength. Implementation of these goals is through educational workshops and seminars, grants, and awards.
So much of our success begins with our health. This why we aims to educate Black women and girls on important health issues and disparities impacting them. Implementation of these goal are through educational workshops, health challenges, awareness campaigns and seminars.
